Cidazole Syrup 10ml belongs to the therapeutic classification of Anthelmintics. The primary composition for this medicine is Albendazole 200 MG /5ML.

Warnings: Do not take Cidazole Syrup 10 ml if you are allergic to any of its contents. Cidazole Syrup 10 ml may cause bone marrow suppression, aplastic anaemia, and agranulocytosis. Inform your doctor if you have/had liver disease; if you have any surgery, including dental surgery. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience seizures, vomiting, headache, extreme tiredness, or behaviour changes while taking Cidazole Syrup 10 ml. Regular monitoring of blood cell count and liver function is advised during treatment with Cidazole Syrup 10 ml. Cidazole Syrup 10 ml might increase the chances of getting an infection; maintain proper hygiene, and try to stay away from people with infections, flu or cold. Consult your doctor if you notice unusual bleeding or bruising as you may bleed or bruise easily while taking Cidazole Syrup 10 ml. Do not take Cidazole Syrup 10 ml if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy as it may cause foetal harm. Do not breastfeed during and for minimum 5 days after treatment with Cidazole Syrup 10 ml. Cidazole Syrup 10 ml may cause dizziness, so be cautious while driving. Cidazole Syrup 10 ml can be given to children above 2 years if prescribed by the doctor.
Medicine Interaction: Cidazole Syrup 10 ml may have interaction with anthelmintic (praziquantel), corticosteroid (dexamethasone), antacid (cimetidine), anti-asthma (theophylline).
Side Effects: Stomach pain, Nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, reversible hair loss.
How to Store it: Store in a cool place. Protect from light.
Over Dose: When a dose is taken in higher dose than the recommended doses, it is called Overdose. Overdose always needs a clinical supervision. Any medicine or drug when consumed in Overdose produces untoward side effects on one or various organs in the body. A medicine is excreted in the kidney or metabolized in the liver most of the times. This process goes without any hurdles when taken in normal dose, but when taken in an overdose, the body is not able to metabolize it or send it out properly which causes the effects of anoverdose.
Precautions: Before you use Cidazole, tell your doctor of your medical and health history including the following:
exposure to dental surgery
eye wound (retinal lesion)
liver disease (increased liver enzyme)
Use of Cidazole causes fatality due to bone marrow suppression (decrease in the number of blood cells)
Missed Dose: In case you miss a dose, use it as soon as you notice. If it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your dosing schedule. Do not use extra dose to make up for a missed dose. If you are regularly missing doses, consider setting an alarm or asking a family member to remind you. Please consult your doctor to discuss changes in your dosing schedule or a new schedule to make up for missed doses, if you have missed too many doses recently.
