Acetylsalicylic Acid (Mactor-ASP) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting several different chemical processes within the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. It also reduces the tendency for blood to clot.
Treatment of aches and pains associated with headache, common cold, and sore throat and for reduction of fever. It may be used to reduce the risk of death and lessen the damaging effects of an acute heart attack. It is also used to reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes in certain men and women who have already had a heart attack or ischemic stroke. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Warnings: Let your doctor know if you are highly sensitive to atorvastatin, or aspirin, have any Active liver disease, Active bleeding issues (like peptic ulcer, brain haemorrhage), pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. The patient should inform the doctor that they are taking MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET before any surgery is scheduled or any new medicine is taken. Atorvastatin present in MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET is a pregnancy category X drug so it is contraindicated in pregnant women. As it may cause harm to the fetus if administered to a pregnant woman. The risk of muscle disease might increase if MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET is taken with an antibiotic (Clarinathromycin), anti-HIV drugs (ritonavir, lopinavir, darunavir, atazanavir, indinavir), and antifungal (itraconazole). Co-administration with anticoagulants like warfarin may cause gastric bleeding and other bleeding problems. So, if you are using any blood-thinning agents let your doctor know about this. MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET contains Atorvastatin which can cause muscle problems like myopathy and rhabdomyolysis. So, any signs of muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness, during the initial months of the treatment should be closely monitored. Patients with Active liver disease should use MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET with caution. Safety and effectiveness of MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET have not been established, so its use should be avoided in paediatric patients or children less than 12 years of age. Discontinuation of MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET may lead to the occurrence of cardiovascular events like heart attack, stroke, and angina (heart-related chest pain). Hence, you should consult a doctor before stopping the dose of MACTOR ASP 75MG TABLET.
Medicine Interaction: If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Mactor ASp Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly.
