Warnings: Do not take Macpod 100 mg Suspension 100 ml if you are allergic to cefpodoxime or any antibiotics. Taking antibiotics of own or practising self-medication may lead to antibiotic resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections. Before taking Macpod 100 mg Suspension 100 ml, let your doctor know if you have/had inflammation in bowel, kidney or liver problems. Do not take antacids and anti-ulcer medicines along with Macpod 100 mg Suspension 100 ml and maintain a gap of 2-3 hours between both to avoid any drug interaction. Consult a doctor before taking Macpod 100 mg Suspension 100 ml if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Macpod 100 mg Suspension 100 ml to prevent unpleasant side effects. Macpod 100 mg Suspension 100 ml may cause dizziness, so be cautious while driving.
Medicine Interaction: Macpod 100 mg Suspension 100 ml may have interaction with furosemide (used to treat oedema), warfarin (used to prevent blood clotting), calcium/vitamin D (multimineral for bones), sodium bicarbonate, aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, cimetidine, ranitidine and loratadine (used to treat ulcer and acidity), and probenecid (used to treat excess uric acid).
